
Disability Studies (BA)
Arizona State University’s online Bachelor of Arts in disability studies covers the social, cultural, political and economic dimensions of disability. In this program, you’ll learn how to create and advocate for policies in government, corporations and nonprofit organizations to increase inclusivity and create a greater sense of community. Upon graduation, you’ll be equipped with the knowledge to pursue careers in human services, counseling, special education, policy and more.
Disability studies degree course
Courses explore the legal and historical context of disability while providing a comprehensive understanding of advocacy for individuals with disabilities globally. In addition to core classes, you’ll complete eight elective courses and a capstone, internship or thesis of your choice.
