Or 2. Completion of 24 or more transferable semester credits post-high school with a minimum cumulative transfer GPA of 2.50 (“A” = 4.00) and verification of high school graduation or the equivalent.

Send your transcripts
Request to have your transcripts sent directly to ASU from each educational institution you attended. Official transcripts delivered by hand will be accepted only if they are sealed in the original envelope provided by the community college or university and bear the university seal and the signature of the registrar of the issuing institution. Please have your previous academic institutions mail your official transcripts here:

Meet with your college academic advisor
Meet with your college academic advisor to discuss your career goals, major and curriculum requirements. Your advisor can also help connect you with resources available to help you champion college. Prior to meeting with your advisor, take a moment to write down all your questions. Throughout your major, you will be able to connect with your advisor to track your progress and address any questions you might have.
Enroll in your classes
Enroll for all the courses you will be taking during the next semester. Your college academic advisor will provide you with a list of courses required for graduation, based on your major. As you’re probably familiar, some students prefer to complete all the required courses first and then focus on electives. Others prefer a mix. Most majors require that you complete courses in a certain order, consecutively building on your knowledge. If you have questions regarding which courses to take or in which order, consult your college academic advisor and utilize MyPath2ASU™ to assist you.
In addition to meeting with your advisor, you can also check your My ASU account for access to your Major Map or DARS report, where you can see what classes you will be taking.
Attend orientation
High five! You are almost done with the application process. Your final step will be attending an orientation at your ASU Local location. Your orientation will be an excellent opportunity to meet the ASU Local team — including your site director and student success coach — as well as your peers. Some of the topics covered during orientation include schedules, activities, available resources, financial aid and your ASU Local workshop schedule. You will also get a site tour to become familiar with your new university.
If you have any questions regarding your orientation, please contact asu.local@asu.edu.
